Cosmonaut, Astronaut, Taikonaut - 10/15/03 - 11:12 am
An interesting analysis of the use of the terms cosmonaut, astronaut and now -- with China's successful manned space flight -- taikonaut is available in Wikipedia's astronaut entry.

Harrius Potter et Philosophi Lapis - 10/11/03 - 11:36 am
I was surprised to discover that quite a few modern children's books have been translated into Latin. Besides Harrius Potter, there's Winnie Ille Pu, Cattus Petasatus and Quomodo Invidiosulus Nomine Grinchus. Caveat lector!

Chicken, Fight Like a Robot! - 10/07/03 - 2:40 pm
