Here is my Babel translation.

The adverb-noun agreement means that an adverb can take different endings depending on the person and number of the noun that does the action. Accent marks over vowels are given by vowels followed by '. An umlauted u is represented by u:.

Radilu (meaning "complex") is a language that I made up to have a very complicated grammar. Having seen Esperanto and other planned languages with simple grammars, I wanted to make a language that was the complete opposite. I also wanted to make Latin, which I was taking at the time, seem not so bad.

My language has around twenty noun cases, about a dozen verb tenses, and other assorted grammatical baggage that I thought would make the language quite hard to learn. At the time, I thought my language was pretty neat.

Today, I don't really like it very much, and I don't think it would be very hard to learn. For example, there are no irregular nouns or verbs. The language is completely phonetic, and thus easy to pronounce. I also think it is rather ugly. It was an interesting idea, but I was not very good at implementing it.

Here are some of Radilu's features:

VOS (verb-object-subject) word order
twenty-three noun cases with a total of 207 noun endings
adverb-noun agreement
thirteen verb tenses, four verb voices, three moods -- 1404 verb forms
adjectives agree with nouns in case, number and gender
almost every word made up
