EasyPortuguese - Free Portuguese course - The site offers free Portuguese courses online, dictionaries, reference material and quizzes.

ELFLING - The most popular conlang mailing list on the Internet, and the most popular Tolkien mailing list as well. (I think he would have liked that coincidence.) "The Elfling list exists to further the scholarly study of the languages invented by J.R.R. Tolkien. The list is not specifically limited to Elvish languages; discussion of other Tolkien-invented languages is encouraged. Elfling also discusses the current state of research into Tolkien's languages."

EngCore - A core English word list. "A score from 1 to 9 is given for each term, indicating the relative importance (frequency) among several free bilingual wordlists available on the web. Anything that scored above 2 must be considered 'essential'; that would be about 4639 of the 9629 total."

English-Estonian Dictionary - English-Estonian dictionary with over 17,000 words.

English-Finnish-English Online Dictionary - Large two-way dictionary English/Finnish.

English-Hungarian Dictionary - Large Hungarian wordlist. Includes explanatory notes when clarification is needed.

English-Lithuanian Dictionary - Large, four-way wordlist: English-Lithuanian, Lithuanian-English, German-Lithuanian, Lithuanian-German.

Ergativity Reference Page - This page is intended to explain anything and everything about ergativity. Ergativity is a linguistic phenomenon that traditionally causes a lot of confusion and is often misunderstood, so this page is intended to serve as a reference for anyone who wants to learn about ergativity (or anyone who's asked to explain ergativity for the umpteenth time). The page is a collaborative effort and will be updated whenever new information comes in.

Essentialist Explanations - Simplistic, often humorous characterizations of languages: "X language is Y under conditions Z". Spanish is essentially a dialect of Californian English used for increasing the value of real estate. (Gee, wouldn't this faux Spanish strip mall be worth $200,000 more if it was called Plaza del Mucho Dinero?)
