Script TypeSyllabary
DescriptionIt is a syllabary, with some special features. Most of the basic characters are derived from Japanese (Hiragana), modified by the needs of the final-consonant marks (and some invented ones, that are made necessary by the system, since more than two diacritics on top of one character are not possible). Note that the "intruders" may be used with any syllable where they make sense, and that the 's' and 'h' "intruders" get voiced, if the main consonant in the syllable is voiced because of a voicing mark (which is borrowed from Japanese). Similarly, if one syllable is closed with a voiceless final consonant, and the next syllable begins with a voiced consonant, the syllable-final also get voiced (usually).
InfluencesJapanese/Jacobi Lyppai hybrid.
