DescriptionA vertical script, where each syllable is written with three characters (plus one or two dots for tone). Writing direction is top-to-bottom, left-to-right.
InfluencesLua, invented by Fen Yik, and Korean Hangul. There are smaller influences from Cyrillic and Khmer (character shapes), and Brahmi (consonant ordering).
Languages Used ForMaa'lua, a Mathasian language (not developed); can be used for any language with only open syllables and with a matching consonant system.
