Script TypeAlphabet
DescriptionEwellic is a phonemic alphabet invented in 1980 to write English (and potentially other languages). It consists of simple straight-line strokes, with rotations and reflections. It can be written easily by hand and lends itself to a variety of styles due to its simplicity. An accent mark is placed over the vowel of the stressed syllable in a multi-syllable word. Letters can combine to form ligatures.
