UniquenessA life-long project (got serious about it ~5 years ago). Arovën means "language of thought" and is intended as a medium for clear, precise translation of thought forms from one mind to another. It is also a "logical", that is, syntactically unambiguous language, which does not mean that it imposes logic upon the speaker; a statement may be as "logical" or as "fuzzy" as the thought form it is meant to communicate. It might also fit well into your 'philosophical' category, were it not for the condition that it be an IAL.
Language SourcesGerman, English, Swedish, Dutch (whew, lots of Germanic influence there! :-), Welsh, Finnish, Hindi, Latin, French, Quenya, Greek
Interest Of OthersA number of people are learning it, because it seems like a fun challenge, I think -- there are of course no practical reasons to learn a non-IAL constructed language!
