Language Typefictional diachronic language
UniquenessModern Trurian is a language that seems very Indo-European in style, but has actually evolved from an agglutinative language (which also explains its main differences from Indo-European languages). Interesting features include complete first-person gender distinctions for pronouns and verbs, adverbialisation of prepositional constructions, agglutinative prefixes expressing different features of verbs (such as passivity, termination, etc.), and a substantially large vocabulary regarding shepherding.
Language SourcesI drew substantial grammatical resources (such as case system and word order) from Latin. The phonology was intended to look faintly Tolkien-Elvish in style (but has evolved in a largely different, namely much more complex, direction).
Interest Of OthersNo, not to my knowledge.
