UniquenessProto-East-Arakhelian is a proto-language. (Actually, it is two related ones.) The grammar is not very Indo-European, and its descendants vary from very IE-looking to very unfamiliar in appearance. It is heavily agglutinative (borderline polysynthetic), and includes a few interesting aspects such as the 'anti-volitive' (expressing a forced or natural action).
Language SourcesMany different languages were sources of inspiration. Several American Indian languages inspired the agglutinative structure, and our current reconstructions of Proto-Indo-European inspired the phonology.
Design PrinciplesPEA was made in such a way that it could spawn daughter languages that look very familiar to us (that is, a more IE structure), as well as ones that don't. The consonant and vowel inventories could form a wide range of possible sound systems, and the many redundancies or unstable features in the grammar could yield quite variable morphologies.
Interest Of OthersInterest is mostly limited to the ZBB.
