Uniqueness | Khangaþyagon is an agglutinating, VSO language with adjective-verb compounding. It is the original language of the world on which it is spoken, and the only one in which magical spells can be formulated. |
Language Sources | Based on an inscription from an Anglo-Saxon ring, apparently a spell to stop bleeding. |
Design Principles | I chose VSO because a focus on action seemed right for a magical language. |
Interest Of Others | Used in the 10th Conlang Translation Relay and several other relays. Links to relay texts can be found on the first of the two sites. This site is a wiki page, and comments and questions are invited. The second site is an artlangs.com journal, giving grammatical information in more depth. |
