Site LanguageEnglish
Language Typefictional language
UniquenessThe language is meant to symbolize the possible speech of the Elves, yet -- because of a character of the world they inhabit -- the language has been influenced by the Simplified English vocabulary derived from today's English as the Men arrived in the land of the Ellan. The Elvish runic font is also reachable at the page.
Language SourcesThe Elvish vocabulary has been invented. Grammar has been created with some help from the English language.
Design PrinciplesThe only design-like part of the language is its sound, as I have decided to use only certain consonants and vowels.
Interest Of OthersA few of my friends were somehow interested when they saw my work.
