Site LanguageEnglish
Language Typefictional diachronic language
UniquenessAubhárith [AU"va:riT] is a daughter language of Michael Repton's Arêndron, devised for my conworld, and a "Celtified version of Arêndron.". The name is derived from the Arêndron verb pauvun, "to flee".
Language SourcesA bit of Gaelic.
Design PrinciplesMost words are validly derived from Arêndron words, but there are some loanwords, especially from Archeía, too.
Interest Of OthersThe inventor of Arêndron is of course interested in how I "butchered/enrichened" his language ;-) and Aubhárith has also been presented at the ZBB
