Interlinear Translation 1In all nations there was one language.
Translation 2And it is when they (ran) to Qedem they see a plain in the place called Shin`ar and they live there.
Translation 3A man said to his friend" Run! we will make bricks and bake/burn them. Bricks are stones and clay is material.
Translation 4And they said, "Run create a city and a tower and the head of the tower shall touch the (area where things fly) sky.
Translation 5And god flys down to see the city and the tower of the sons of humanity.
Translation 6And god said "there is a city and a language for all. And they do/make.
Translation 7Run, we will fly down and confuse the language, they wont understand their friends.
Translation 8And god scatterd them all over the face of the earth.
Translation 9It shall be called Babel because the language was confused and the people are scattered all over the face of the earth.
Notes 2There is no need to paraphrase as Languan gets the meaning across fairly well. Also, a word for word exact translation would make no sense to an english speaker at all as many words have multiple meanings and many words are comparisons.
