Most word building in Minyhan is accomplished using infixes.

abo [< *apo.] n. Brother.
abocu [< abo, "brother" & -cu-, "in-law".] n. Brother-in-law.
abona [< abo, "brother" & -na-, "female".] n. Sister.
abopi [< abo, "brother" & -pi-, "half".] n. Stepbrother, half-brother.
abossa [< abo, "brother" & -ssa-, "vice".] n. Step-brother.

Infixes can be combined:

abocuna [< abo, "brother" & -cu-, "in-law" & -na-, "female".] n. Sister-in-law.
abopina [< abo, "brother" & -pi-, "half" & -na-, "female".] n. Stepsister, half-sister.
