Language Typefictional diachronic language
UniquenessOne uniquity is that almost all nouns, verbs, and adjectives are single syllables, usually in the format consonant+vowel+consonant. Also unique are the very strict rules of syntax formation.
Language SourcesWell, originally it was based on Quenya and Welsh, but it ended up drifting away and now looks nothing like either of them. There are a few Quenya word-borrowings, though.
Design PrinciplesI wanted to make a language that would have inviolable rules; it is very strict (for example, all nouns, no matter how or where they appear must be accompanied by an appropriate article).
Interest Of OthersI'm probably the only one interested in this language. I checked fictional diachronic language, because it has an entire world and history to go with it, but really, this world (and therefore all languages within it) are more a personal hobby than anything. I very nearly checked personal language.
