Uniqueness	There may be two slightly different forms of a word or conjugation; the speaker's aesthetic tastes determine which one will be used. It's a language meant for slow, careful intonation, not everyday speech. A language for poetry, not conversation, to be savored on the tongue like fine wine...and it only has one irregular verb! One!
Language Sources	Influenced mainly by Quenya, Latin, some Sindarin, and Spanish and English grammar.
Design Principles	Valavya was originally created to be the main language of a fictional world, but later I decided it was the ancient language used in 'magic'. As a result it is very strict and regular, with relatively uncomplicated grammar. Words are formed on a basis of my personal aesthetic tastes and whether they 'sound right' for their meaning.
