UniquenessI began devising this language at the age of 12. It has survived in a kernel form for over 30 years, and I don't want it to die. It is a blend of many languages, including Latin, French, Spanish, German and Cherokee, with many unique words. Yet it sounds a great deal like Russian. Designed to be a rich, robust and colorful language to tantalize the tongue with challenging twists and turns! Sample WAV files are included on my site.
Language SourcesThe grammar base is almost entirely English (to be expected of a 12 year old American). Yet the etymological origins include Latin, French, Spanish, German, a lot of Cherokee, as well as some Gujarati, Mandarin, Japanese and more languages to come.
Design PrinciplesThe fun of this language is making it sound plausible, yet combining words or word roots from any and every language I can find. I am not trying to make it simple, nor should it be complex. Just something one might here spoken in some remote version of our universe... maybe...
Interest Of OthersActually only one other person has contributed a word to date. Her name is "Karon" which (spelled in reverse) is "Narok" ... the word we have decided to use as "Thank" or "Thanks" .... Narok vu!
