Site LanguageEnglish
Language Typefictional language
UniquenessStālāg has a complex verb morphology, with subject and object marks, tense, aspect, mood, and up to six verbal voices including an applicative that turns complements into core arguments. Not really unique, since Georgian has most of that and more, but surely different.
Language Sources(My very trivial knowledge of) Georgian and other active/stative languages.
Design PrinciplesTry out the active/stative (agentive/patientive) distinction. Make extensive use of voice operators to construct new verbs.
Interest Of OthersNot that I know of, except Jeffrey Henning (the creator of this site).
