Language Typelogical language
EditorialMalat is intended to be the most logical a language can be, in both regularity and in expression. It also allows some relatively complicated concepts to be said in a relatively simple and unambiguous manner. All the vocabulary is arbitrarily made and unrelated to natural languages.
UniquenessMinyeva (previously Malat) is a language with regular structure and some unique syntactic features. Sentence structure is a causation string with each entity as a pivot around which their actions and states are placed. The resulting sentences are either VSO or SVO. The case system is a unique tripartite system with is one type of subject and two types of objects.
Language SourcesMinyeva counts as its inspiration other regular and logical languages: Lojban, Esperanto, Rick Morneau's Katanda, and other random languages. The vocabulary is a priori.
Design Principlesmajor goals:
- COMPENDIOUSNESS. I concentrate on providing specific forms plus vague
forms so that you can be as specific or as vague as you like.
- REGULARITY. Syntactically regular, but not necessarily lexically regular
(as in completely regular derivation of related concepts).
- LEARNABILITY

semi-major goals:
- REDUNDANCY. I want the language to be usable in noisy environments.
- SYNTACTIC NON-AMBIGUITY. But I won't sacrifice ease of use for this goal.
- AESTHETICS
- NATURALNESS. I want it to obey most universals, but not much aside from
that.

minor goals:
- PARSABILITY. Whenever this goal doesn't conflict with higher goals.
- LOGICALITY. Maybe I'll pay attention to this later.
- LOCAL/FORMAL SIMPLICITY. I want the language to be useable.
- SEMANTIC PRECISION. This seems to be related in some way to the thing
right above.
- FLEXIBILITY. Just a little more flexibility than natural languages.
- CONCISION. I don't want sentence length to get out of hand.

not goals:
- ICONICITY. Related words don't necessarily have related form at all.
- GLOBAL/FUNCTIONAL SIMPLICITY
Interest Of OthersCurrently I'm the only one that knows any of the language, since it's in development. After development, my girlfriend and others will learn it.
