Uniqueness | Lamquenen doesn't allow B or D to stand alone and G is not allowed at the beginning of the word. Because it is based off Finnish, the only permissible word endings are either a vowel, or one of the letters L, N, R, S or T. B and D exist only in the clusters MB and ND. |
Language Sources | Finnish, Welsh, Sanskrit, Japanese, Germanic languages, Quenya (for a few words and basic sound structure), Italian, French and Latin. |
Design Principles | I have derived my words from a proto-language (which I also invented) by a set of rules that I devised. |
