Uniqueness	Canis is simple and logical, but above that, honest! Canis acquired its vocabulary mainly from Romance and African languages. Canis' grammar is a mix of Romance and Germanic influences, which makes it easy to learn.
Language Sources	Italian, Greek, Swahili and Latin. Some words are acquired from Latvian, Serbian, Hebrew, Wolof, and Japanese, but there are not many of them.
Design Principles	The design principle is that most words must be recognizable to as many people as possible. Words like aqua, pizza, telefono, animali, simba, tembo are probably no problem to understand; they mean: "water", "pizza", "telephone", "animals", "lion", and "elephant".
Interest Of Others	Actually, no. I know that there is very little chance that someone would learn my language one day. But I make Canis mostly for myself. I've learned a lot about the structure of languages simply by creating them by myself.
