| Introduction | This is the Norwegian dialect spoken around the capitol city. It is written like it sounds. Å is aa (like the "o" in "oh no"); Æ is like the two first "A's" in "Alabama"; Ø is like the "ou" in "country"; Y is hehe.. I don't know an English word with this sound. Different sounds for the the three letters "I", "Y" and "J", but an English person would not tell the difference, but there are. |
