Introduction | Although I have grammar and a lexicon, I lack a writing system and punctuation other than basic English systems. In the re-translation to english, all verbs are stated as in present tense because verbs do not change for tense. One tense modifier alters the whole sentance/thought/paragraph. |

Interlinear Translation 1 | And all land (past) is of one language and few words. |
Translation 2 | And (past) (curcumstance) is when journey(they) from east, find(they)(it) plain in land(of) Shinar [Shinar not translated] and dwell(they) there. |
Translation 3 | And one (past[still]) say(he)to/at his friend, "Make-let's bricks and completely-burn(with warming fire)(them)." And brick is as stone to(them), and clay is as material to(them). |
Translation 4 | And (past) say(they), "Build-let's city a citadel, and its face in the day-sky, and (future) make(we)(us)[for implied] name, in-order-not-to-be scattered around face(of) all Earth" |
Translation 5 | And God-high (past) descend(he) in-order-to-see city and citadel that offspring(s)(of) Men (past-perfect) build(they). |

English Paraphrase 1 | And all the land was of one language and few words. |
Paraphrase 2 | And it was when they journeyed from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and lived there. |
Paraphrase 3 | And one said the his friend, "Let's make bricks and backe them thouroughly." And brick was like stone to them, and clay was like material to them. |
Paraphrase 4 | And they said, "Let's build a city and a strong tower, with its head to the sky, and we'll make for ourselves a name, in order to not be scatterd about the face of the whole earth." |
Paraphrase 5 | And God descended to see th city and citadel that the sons of men had built. |
Paraphrase 6 | And God said, "Look, there is one land, and there is one language to all of them, and that which they have begun to do. And now, it won't be deprived from them, all that they plan to do." |
Paraphrase 7 | Let us descend and confuse their language there, so that one cannot hear the language of his friend." |
Paraphrase 8 | And God scattered them from there to the face of the whole earth, and they ceased to build the city. |
Paraphrase 9 | So now it is called Place of Confusion (Babel), because God confused the language of all th earth, and from there God scattered them to the face of the whole earth. |
