Description
Arial-Thai is a linearized version of Thai. The consonants are taken directly from Thai (though a few have received new pronounciations), but many of the vowels and the tone marks are invented. The name comes from the fact that the characters were made from the Arial (42 point) typeface. The vowels cannot stand by themselves; if there is no consonant to attach a vowel to, the glottal stop character (reverse "G") must be used.
Influences
Thai, New Tai Lue
Languages Used For
