| Introduction | For some reason or another, I've always wanted to re-invent Russian, but for no other reason than a brilliant clash of consonants, making a mess of anyone's tongue, and if I did it right, glottis, uvula, etc. Well, I decided to go the more orcish route, decided that copying Latin or Japanese wouldn't be the most appropriate, and got some inspiration from the very small corpus of Tolkien's Black Speech. It's got a very peculiar mixture of inflection and agglutination that I think came out fairly naturalistic. Oh yeah, it's an SOV head-first language, so watch out, English speakers. |
